Best Western George Hotel

in general a well run hotel and the one minor complaint was dealt with by the manager to our satisfaction. we would be very happy to stay again.9 out of 10. (97537758)

room air freshener I found overpowering (smoking converted to non?)

I would have like to have known that there were no smoking rooms here,as along with 25% of the population, we are smokers. The room was generally very tidy, but had a lot of cobwebs on the curtains and across the ceiling (97223538)

The Bar kept good hours and the barman was very accommodating

The fact that we were sent to a room that hadnt been serviced, the attitude of the reception staff,the overall cleanliness of the hotel,and the stale smell throughout the building.

Should be specific about telephone charges in room ie how long a unit lasts. Reception did not know this. Strange that in listed building with leaded light windows had plastic flowers in vase. (99131988)
