Our room was lovely, it was very pretty and felt very cosy.

Breakfast is 7.30 - 8.30 and we slept through it, think it would be better if it was 8-9.30.

We have stayed in this hotel twice in recent weeks. The first time we had a ground floor room which, although comfortable and nicely decorated, was quite small with very little room to move around. The second time we had a first floor room with a four-poster bed which was much larger and lighter. On both occasions we had tea and coffee making facilities in the room which we found very useful. Staff were helpful and courteous and the breakfasts were good with a full English if wanted. It is a long way into Cambridge by foot (about 2 miles) but the number 3 bus stops just outside the hotel. (every 10 minutes during the day and 30 minutes in the evening)so that was not really a problem. There is off-street parking very close by and a pull-in outside to unload. All-in-all a good cosy place to stay and explore Cambridge from. (99358498)

I would really have liked a room with a bath. When I was reading through the hotel information the item of a 'bath' came up in the list, so I thought this would be included. There seemed to have been some confusion as to what the hotel offered in comparison with the actual room I booked. It would also have been good to have a breakfast menu, instead of which we were asked what we would like; which is a little difficult if you haven't got an initial idea what may be served for breakfast. The decoration was really nice, made the place feel cosy. My wife accompanied me on this trip and she really liked the ambience.
