The leisure facility was good

Room decor not as fresh as most Premier Inn places I have stayed, shower dated and slow, stiff to operate. Neighbours conversations and TV too easily heard through adjoining door. No Wifi and internet connection limited by time/cost.

(108052696)

shabby carpets through out the building in need of decoration staff very miserable food was cold very expensive poor quality meals. our daughter ordered a lasagne which when served was about 4 inches wide with a bit of garlic bread and nothing else and we were charge

It was difficult to find our room.

I would recommend this hotel to anyone for it's comfort and amenities. If you are looking for a central hotel, this is probably not going to suit you but taxis are readily available
(97146640)

the check in process was quick and easy for a large group

not very central

Everything was excellenbt except for the fact that there were no lifts. There were supposed to be stair lifts for the first few floors (which we couldn't make work!) but there was nothing down to our rooms in the basement.

The dirty linen and bathroom
Anonymous (Mature couple) 18 July 2007
We were generally satisfied with our stay. However, as is invariably the case, the inconsiderate behaviour of other guests was a downside factor, particularly the slamming of doors at a time when many people are attempting to get to sleep.

David from Neath, GB (Mature couple) 23 March 2007
Staff were professional, efficient and helpful. Facilities looked good although we did not have time to make use of them. Restaurant provided excellent food and service. However the cost was excessive for the quality of the room.
(99886891)

Service, cleanliness and staff were excellent. Facilities and restaurant were of good quality.

Room needed a refit, carpet had a hole which was covered with duck tape. We have paid less money for a far superior room in other hotels.
Anonymous (Solo business traveller) 22 March 2007
My stay was very comfortable, did not have any time to try your leisure facilities, standards were very high, impressed
(99408579)

Clean and tidy good food etc
Mark from Burgess Hill, United Kingdom;GB (Group of adult friends) 18 March 2007
Accomodation is functuonal and comfortable. We booked a table in the restaurant for dinner rather than travel into town. Food was fine but all in our party of 5 did felt it was expensive for what it was. 10% service was added to the bill automatically. Breakfast the following morning was good, self service hot breakfast plus cereals etc.

Great location, rooms were as expected, functional and comfortable

Layout of hotel was confusing at first, finding our way to the restaurant on the first evening was fun

We were using the hotel as a base for an activity weekend so it was OK. We were so tired that we didn't want to travel and eat elsewhere but would have done on the 2nd evening. The food wasn't bad - just average and not served hot.
(3304761646)

Good wine lins and excellent spa and pool facilities. The bar did not serve any real bitter, not even in bottles. This is inexcusable.

Bathroom a bit old, no double beds and pushing twins together left a step as they were different levels. Food in resturant was only average. The bar did not serve any real bitter, not even in bottles. This is inexcusable.

Golf facility

Room was a bit shabby (window leaking), lack of basic things in room eg biscuits and hotel restaurant menu a bit basic

Wehave stayed in other Ramada Hotels and found them to be totally different to this hotel. Very expensive for a room only basis. The facilities were excellent. Staff need to be supervised and be taught manners!
(3304455311)

We enjoyed our stay but felt the staff were un-supervised and not at all friendly. The hotel was tired and in need of a complete refurb. Also not baby friendly. The rooms did not have a fridge - we only wanted to keep water and have ice but were told this was not available in all the rooms.

The food was disgusting. We had a carvery on the saturday night and because the food was kept under heat lamps it was dried out, same as for breakfast which was not included in our price as we thought for our accommodation. Had we known the breakfast was not included we woud not have paid to have it. Eggs - hard, bacon completely dried out.
