Whilst the hotel itself was good, the parking and general location made the experience a difficult one. Having to pay to remove your car from the next door NCP each time you wish to use the car is daft. The directions on the hotel website could be clearer and supported by a simplified map view. Hotel not in a very good area of Sheffield (if there are any good areas) and it was difficult to find somewhere suitable (ie pub) to have our evening meal away from the hotel.

The contemporary design of the hotel was very different and I much preferred this in comparison to other hotels I have stayed in!!

Everything was fine, the only thing I didnt like was that the car parking facility was not easy to find and we had no idea where it was, and so had to park in a neighbouring park for more cost!!

Clean and tidy - seemed relatively spacious compared to other similarly priced weekend accomodation

No real problems with the accomodation - room service performed extremely poorly though. We were still waiting arrival of our food after 1.5 hours and were forced to cancel our order so we could attend the event we had come to Sheffield to see!! Needless to say we were very unhappy with this and will probably not choose this hotel again, despite the fact that everything else being more than satisfactory.

I wouldn't stay there again unless there was nowhere else close to local amenities such as the arena. I'd rather pay the extra to stay in a quiet hotel. We were in a room next to a fire door and were constanly disturbed by people going through the door, we also had to complain about people next door who woke us at about 3am laughing and generally being loud for about an hour. It was noisy and although we were staying in a no smoking room/corridoor there was a disinct smell of smoke in the corridoor

The hotel was clean and tidy, with spacious rooms and very helpful staff. Disappointed with the car parking facility and it wasn't the easiest to find as we had to go through the petrol station. the overhead cabinet with a mark please mind your head - apparently the mark will be easily ignored but being noticed only after one's head has hit the shelve - my father and I all had the painful experience on that night, perhaps that piece of furniture should be re-designed if possible.

This was the first time we had used Bristol and it wont be our last, we really appreciated the personal attention and warm welcome we received. We have stayed in many hotels overnight and very rarely seen such good decor. It was a very pleasant experience, we were visitng Sheffield to see a concert at the City hall which was within easy walking distance and even after having alcohol, the distinctive sign was very easy to see from a distance. We were made to feel welcome as soon as we walked through the door, nothing was too much trouble for the young ladies on reception.

The directions from the car park to the Hotel reception were poor. The car park attendant could have been more helpful in giving assistance in this matter.

The bed was hard and lumpy and neither of us got much sleep as a result. Also the pillows were too solid for comfort.

Centrally located and convenient for shops.

The hotel is always clean but is let down by damaged and torn seating in the bar area.

Poorly ventilated room. Hot and sticky despite being cool outside.heavy duvet, did not sleep well on either night. Bathroom had broken basin,[huge cracks],shower handset broken , extractor fan not working. Put up bed had broken base slats. (3305345438)
