The hotel is well situated and comfortable. When I arrived, the receptionist did not know the time of the operation of the public car park charges. I did receive clear information on the route to my destination in the city.
Terrible queue for check-out in the morning.
Excellent breakfast. Would have liked mineral water in my bedroom (97782392)
Clean and
comfortable. The bed was excellent
Poor information about internet access. Was there WiFi?

I think the breakfast is overpriced and we went out the back door and had a great breakfast for a third of the cost at a nearby cafe. We arrived late on our first night and it would have been nice to find 2 not 1 hot chocolate and a few biscuits to welcome 2 very tire travellers. The hotel is perfectly situated for all of Birmingham. We wnt for an exhibition at NEC and it couldnt have been easier to get to and so handy for evening entertainment at the MailBox.Very helpful staff when it came to providing a map and directions. (97111615)

Good size room with very
comfortable bed. Excellent
service from staff.
Poor lighting in room for close up tasks. There was some
noise on our corridor on the first night from other rowdy guests but a swiftly answered phone call to
reception around 4am soon had it sorted.(thanks)

It is a nice modern property, with all the expected things...air conditioning, pay wifi in the lobby and in many rooms, in-house restaurant that just happened to be closed on Sunday night. We didn't use it but there was a fitness room. Right downtown and within walking distance of some public buildings, shopping, and some restaurants. Staff was helpful with directions including finding the correct bus I needed, directions to the bus stop, and a xeroxed map of the area I was trying to visit. (99734370)

A very
nice hotel, modern, in a
central location.

pleasant stay was had, all the staff that we came into contact with, were very good and professional and made the stay at the hotel even better; excellent customer service.
The room we stayed in was just right, at an excellent price, worth it. (99841667)

that it was exactly as described on the website, just rght

nothing, everything was as it should be

Room was
clean, bed was
comfortable, plenty of
hot water in the
bathroom at all times.

Very
noisy road traffic. Curtains and carpets in the room 'tired', but bed linen
clean and fresh, that was more important.

The coffee at breakfast was disgusting, over stewed and boiled, as far as I was concerned it was undrinkable. I like good coffee in the morning. The rest of the food was very good. (99901378)

Adequate without being exotrice, fine for the
price.
Stuart from Birmingham, United Kingdom;GB (Young couple) 02 November 2006
Hotel is in a central location for the night life, good clean comfortable accomodation for a low price, i must say someone has already said during her review that this hotel should advertise with the slogan 4 star accomdation for 2 star price, shes right, i found it surprisingly affordable. Although do think the drinks prices are high but then this might be the reason why the rooms are so cheap, if so carry on, as i have said there are the Broad st bars close by and the famous Birmingham balti restaurants close by. (99019831)
Clean,
comfortable and the bed was
great. Also
great for Broad st where all the night life in Brum is.

High prices at the
Bar 1 pint of lager and 1 white wine and soda nearly £7:50, there is a weatherspoons just outside go there.
ian from milford haven, United Kingdom;GB (Mature couple) 01 November 2006
Overall- I cant complain for the money I paid (3305383713)
Nice room size

The doors seperating the rooms are very off putting- you open the door, the person mext door leaves theirs open and you are in each others room- very off putting!!!!
The
shower room needs modernising
No biscuits in room
The
bar prices are disgusting!!

Anonymous (Young couple) 20 October 2006
Very good and pleased with the hotel. Would have preferred to have known that parking was an additional charge as I chose the hotel due to its location and the fact that it had a car park. (3305491294)

The
location was within
easy reach of all key areas of
Birmingham. It was
clean and tidy and the room was reasonably large.

I requested a no-smoking room but was given a smoking room which really did smell of smoke and I had to open a window which made it
noisy.

Overall my stay was pleasant and the room was adequate. Its close to the city centre and we managed to walk to the shopos with ease. The special menu of the week was good value. (3304323666)

The room was tidy and adequate. It was
noisy on Saturday night ?from the
bar below.

The
restaurant was not partitioned well. Its opened to the
bar where the
noise was rather obtrusive.
Anonymous (Mature couple) 14 February 2006
Friendly and efficient staff. A good restaurant. Clean and bright rooms. A little expensive. (3304189465)

I am in favour of a no smoking policy or at least ensuring freedom from smoke in the bars and restaurants. The
bar area was very smokey

The bookinh system allowed me to find out all theimformation I needed about the hotel... location star rating etc before I made my booking and that was very helpful. (2642569)
