Sheraton Athlone Hotel

Thoroughly recommend this hotel. We didnt have our children with us on this occasion but would definetly go back with them again as appeared very child friendly as well

Excellent spa. Beautiful room and bathroom. Very pleasant and efficient staff (apart from breakfast).

Breakfast could have been better particularly the service. We were left standing when we arrived even though there were lots of tables free. There was no white pudding, sausages. Coffee ran out and not replaced. In the room, toilet paper very thin and no biscuits with tea/coffee. Shower handle came off in my hand. No a la carte menu, more variety would have been good and dessert wine by the glass.

Very modern and clean. The facilities like the pool and gym were excellent. The breakfast was really good too.

Little attention to detail like having the mini bar stocked, larger towels, even robes etc was not available.
