Overall, the Alte Hotel is a superb little hotel. The staff are friendly and efficient and do everything they can for you. There are lifts to all floors and everywhere is spotlessly clean. Room service is efficient and plentiful - the lunchtime and evening menu are lovely and the food is well presented and well cooked. As we stayed in the winter, I cannot comment on the pool/outdoor facilities, but from what could be seen they looked in good order and again, spotlessly clean. A great hotel - much recommended. The staff were superb - nothing was too much trouble. The hotel was spotlessly clean.

Due to the timing of our stay we found the rooms to be slightly damp. Breakfast was a bit disappointing - but the food generally was excellent.
