The couple who own the property were really lovely and friendly and gave us great local reccommendations. The room had everything we needed and was very clean and nicely decorated etc. It was extremely good value for money, especially when you consider you would pay similar prices in a soul-less chain hotel with rubbish surroundings!

The immediate area has nothing really to offer in terms of restaurants pubs etc, but that didn't matter too much, as we were going off to the Brecon Beacons for walking anyway, and only had to drive a little way for an excellent place to eat.

Very pleasant owners. Excellent views over the valley. Good parking off road outside the cottage. Good walks for dog owners and walkers alike.

Sat Nav says you have arrived half way up hill when the accommodation is at the top. The actual signs for the cottages are very small and could easy be missed.

If you want peace and quiet , a wonderful view, good central location for visiting the area and a home away from home then this is the place to come (107346417)

We stayed in the studio upstairs and it was amazing how much had been fitted into such a small space, without feeling at all cramped. It was really cosy and just what we needed after a freezing cold walk up the brecons.

Would have been lovely if woodburner had been working as it was so cold outside, but spoke to the owner in the morning who said they were all in the process of being fixed.
