Staff, quiet room with the secondary glazing. Excellent breakfast very well cooked and delivered to the table still extremely hot.

Creaking floor boards, noisy person on the floor above us who woke us up on several occassions. Hotel decoration in a rather tired state.

generally we enjoyed our stay, the breakfast was nice and the evening meal was. the people friendly and the atmosphere friendly. we would stay there again but maybe request a different room! (107566768)

we liked the decor in the bedroom, the White Hart had a really nice olde worlde feeling, the game and port pie in the evening was lovely and the service was very friendly. it was also nice and central with parking which is always a plus!

the bathroom needed to be re-done and felt a bit grubby, not because it was but because it was old, the beds were very springy, you could feel the springs straight through the linen which didn't make for the most comfortable of sleeps and the heating was so high that it was like a sauna! also we were next to the old sign which hung outside our window and squeaked loudly whenever there was a gust of wind. it didn't disturb us much through the night but could disturb lighter sleepers, just needed an oil!
