The proprietor was something of a character and prone to share his unusual views with guests at breakfast.

Hotel was clean and comfortable - was close to where the seminar was that we were attending.

Because of our flight time we coouldn't arrive until 10pm, we did ention this at time of booking via the internet and we phoned ahead to let the manager know.He said that 10pm would be alright but he was quite unhelpful and when we were twenty minutes away from the guest house we called the manager who said that if we didn't arrive asap he was leaving and we would have to find somewhere else to stay! We arrived twenty minutes later to a quite annoyed manager, who said he had to be up early the next morning. This was quite off-putting for us.

Glad to get a few nights sleep in comfort without the hassel of working to a set timetables for eating. Loved the fact that you were able to come and go at ease and also know the security on the building was their for your protection more than anything else. The staff were very courtious and friendly. Ficilities very pleasing to see. Nice to have a relaxing garden area outside to beable sit and read a book.

Found the place difficult to find with the signage only pointing in one direction on the main road. Would probably be best to inform people to parkup near the Crown Pub and look opposite the road and know its position.

Room was a bit cramped and very hot The shower was useless, decoration needs updating and stained ceiling tiles need replacing

the Norwood hotel is intimate yet spacious. Everything you could need was in the room and one cold relax absolutely and completely. Maybe some customers are already relaxewd when they arrive, but if not they as we would notice and appreciate it. (107278818)

our anniversary was celebrated with balloons on our door with a sign and balloons in our room.it was much appreciated. I was impressed by the style and quality of the interior design, comfort and soft furnishings.
