There was a good restaurant very close by. The breakfast was nice.

The pub itself was pretty rough and there was no window or fan in the bathroom, the sink did not look like it had been cleaned and the wall paper was yellowing and pretty shabby.

Quality of food and drinks

Toilet was along the landing although the rooms had a wash basin and shower, why not ensuite facilities ? The room was not very sound proofed from the Saturday nights entertainer.

The staff were very friendly and efficient and the room clean and well kept. The position of the hotel meant that we could easily get to dinner in Fowey without having to go through town. The bar was friendly and not too noisy at night.

Ideal centre for visiting Eden project and Lost Gardens of Heligan.
very easy to find.

Our room door did not lock properly as it was a fire exit door and had just had the lock fitted prior to our arrival.
