Good bar meals, nice selection of beers. Nice breakfast (although indication that cooked options other than full fry-up would be nice). Comfortable room, with digital television. Good shower. Friendly staff (and locals).

Minor housekeeping problems with room, e.g. tap stay washer gone meaning tap twisted on sink, radiator control knob broken, so struggled to turn radiator on or off. Mobile reception poor (although not a lot the hotel can do about this!).

The Kings Arms was very comfortable, welcoming and the staff made every effort to make my stay memorable. The room was fresh and nicely furnished with very efficient shower facilities.

Booking did not advise hotel that we had a dog and all rooms available for use with pet were fully booked, fortunely they allowed us to use a room which was not for animal use

Friendly staff. Excellent for walks, especially with a dog. Good for places of interest - eg. National Trust properties, Sherborne.

One bad evening meal but Bar food looked up with arrival of different Chef. No chairs in bedroom, room too small and therefore nowhere to sit in comfort.

Room was very clean and well presented, it was very nice to be able to access our room without always entering the public area.

Early morning fire alarm (07.15 on a Sunday!!)which turned out to be a false alarm. But hey we got out and saw a great morning.
