left to our own devices, no teaspoon for coffee, wasnt shown how to heat water for shower

Could have been so much better. I have my suspiscion that somethig went wrong with the booking process which is why we did not get what we booked (107926625)

Good location for the NEC. Staff were helpful. Good hearty breakfast.

Booked a twin room with breakfast. They had put us in the annex with a double bed and tried charge us an addittional £10 from the booked price.This was for breakfast as the room had self catering facilities- not what we wanted. Room heating was inadequate. No remote for the TV.Floors had not been hoovered. In the kitchen there was food on work surfaces,cutlery/crockery still on the drainer and dead peas caught in the plug hole. In the bathroom the bin had rubbish in it and there was toothpaste on the sink. Light outside room was broken so unable to see to open door. Outside one window the view was blocked by a large mobile advertising board. Looked like the owners/staff park in front of the annex making it difficult to negotiate in the dark. Difficult to find the place in the dark as poorly lit. Booking process was a worry as they rang up to confirm if we were coming as they obviously had a problem with the booking- but assured me there was no problem.

No shampoo in shower, shower very weak. Felt like a hostel. TV reception poor.

Told we could book in from 2pm but no one there, waited about 25mins then housekeeper let us into the room. When eventually checked in there was some muddle over the no. of nights booked
