Fine. Comfortable hotel. Lovely breakfast. Receptionist who greeted us was great and we were very grateful for the help with our bags. Not impressed with the person on duty in the morning when we left as she was not overly friendly and didn't bother to ask if we had enjoyed our stay. (97186521)

Bathroom needs refurbishing. Feel that website should mention the number of stairs required to access the hotel and to access the restaurant. I was travelling with my elderly mother and the amount of stairs was an issue for her though she managed.

The hotel and the room was fantastic, very good value for money. Also the staff in the reception area was helpful and very nice. Food and drink in the restaurant was OK but the service was a bit disappointing. Not very efficient or dedicated. We had to call for attention a couple of times during our 3 course dinner. The room was superb. Newly refurbished and extremely comfy and roomy. Bathroom big and well equipped.

The service in the restaurant was not of very high standard. Wine/drink for dinner came later than the starter (we had to ask for it a second time) and instead of having one dedicated waiter we had 2 + the barman + the head waiter which made it confusing and not very good.
