Good welcome on quite late arrival and was able to eat in spite of being late. Very good food.

We were a little perturbed that the owner had to stay up to let us in. It did affect what time we stayed out til. They did say they didn't mind what ime we came in though.

I felt that I wwas looked after in a way that made me feel like a valued guest, which meant that I chose to eat every evening in the hotel rather than go out for dinner. (108026614)

The hosts are masters of discrete but attentive service. The food is very good and the rooms are comfortable. It is pleasantly situated and quiet.

Bathroom fittings are, whilst in good condition, quite dated. Pillows are rather hard.

We was not welcomed very nicely and the hotel was not able to put a childs bed in the room for our son. He expected us to paid an additional £65 for another room for my my 8 year old to stay in alone. We was not impressed as this was not made clear on the website. We would not be staying again and will not be recommending to friends. classic miserable old git ???
