Breakfast, it was like being on the Marie Celeste, no staff to be seen anywhere, just help yourself to whatever was on offer

Despite the bad points, my stay was fine. At £59 a night it is priced similar to Travelodge but includes a cooked breakfast - good value. (108106570)

Attractive hotel in quiet* location, but well located for motorway. Nice cooked breakfast. Pleasant staff (chef very friendly), and there was no problem turning up at midnight!

Room 20 had a musty smell and the deorations were a bit tired, the chairs resembled ex-dining chairs. The extract fan in the bathroom was caked with dust and needs a good clean *Main problem with the room was the proximity to the back door which banged shut from around 6.30AM - perhaps this room should be reserved for early risers?

Quality of the food,friendly serving staff

Check in was rather slow with the receptionist moaning about jet-lag. Check out was very poor, having waited over 5 mins and rung the bell twice I had to resort to 'phoning the hotel from my mobile to get aomebody to come to reception.

The staff where really miserable, couldn't even be bothered to say hello when we arrive or goodbye when we left, we felt we where a bit of an inconvience. the breakfast waitress had the same attitude.
