The welcome was warm and friendly. My room was beautifully clean, large and comfortable. The shower was powerful and hot. I think I had the best breakfast at a hotel ever... full English. The quality of food was excellent- fabulously cooked especially the tomatoes and mushrooms. Would recommend this hotel with reservation(!!).

This was our second visit. As previously, the room was in very good order. Parking available. The breakfast is one of the best I've come across and the breakfast room and whole hotel, made this a restful and pleasant retreat for our week-end trip. For those with a dead-line for leaving at a particular time, this is a well organised hotel, which should exceed expectations - right down to the portable payment machine for quick check-outs !. Room in Wishmoor is spacious with good view of Cheltenham's cityscape. The dinning room is decorated well with a nice garden view. It is on a main road and at a walking distant to the city centre. An impressive hotel at this price in UK. (97169951)

It is terrific. I don't expect this standard after experienced the poor B&B in London. Wishmoor is friendly, warm, clean and most important of all, I can choose my room in the internet.

The one thing I can say is too carry my luggage up 2 levels to my room. However, this is the style of this house.

Very good. We were welcomed and felt looked after. John booked us a table at the local resturaunt around the corner on our first night. The hotel was very clean and fresh. If the weather was better we would have gone out into the gardens. (97870737)

I loved the large room with its sloping attic roof and the flowery wallpaper. It had an old fashioned quaint feel but the power shower was a wonderful contemporary addition. The tea and biscuits in the room were appreciated too. The house itself is so grand and elegant - a reminder of yesteryear. The dining room was lovely - clean and spacious. The breakfast was wonderful - full English breakfast with toast, jam, fruit and cereal. And the staff were very friendly and welcoming. I would most definitely stay there again.

The curtains let in the sunlight at abput 5.30 am - a tad too early for me!

Friendly host and hostess

I stay away on average 2 nights a week on a limited expense budget - this hotel gave a really good experience - friendly check-in and I was shown to the room. Recommendations were offered for eating locally. The hotel was immaculately clean with lovely big open rooms but with a luxurious period family home feel. Generous breakfast which was cooked to order. Would definately book in here again. (99825000)

Friendly and helpful owners, comfortable bed, fanastic hearty breakfast that kept me going most of the day, very quiet - didn't hear anyone else even when hotel full - unlike other places I've stayed at where someone sneezing next door wakes the house up.

Only slight niggle was TV reception wasn't great and could only get 1-3 clearly, but since I was hardly in room , not an issue.

The local pub was pleasant and will be even better when the no smoking licence comes into effect. The local Taxi company took us for a ride in more than one way, so I would advise getting a quote from the HQ before accepting a journey, as the same journey differed greatly even though it was with the same company. The dearer tarrif actually cost us less so we can only assume we were ripped off with the 'Cheaper' tariff (99080362)
