The Kings Head Hotel

Liked the extra touches in the room eg home baked cookies ,decanter of port,fresh milk for the tea/coffe.Selection of toiletries in bathroom were above average you normally get in a hotel.Breakfast was excellent -freshly cooked (,local produce)to order.Main restaurant was rather expensive ,but good attentive service. Didn't appear to be any other local places to eat,therefore they have a captive audience . (97674208)

The bedroom was superb and the overall layout and cleanliness of the venue was good. There could have been more choice on the menu for those who like a little bit more of a traditional type meal without too much fussiness. (3305079490)

I would recommend this hotel to everyone; the facilities and standards of cleanliness were very high. The rooms were luxurious with the most comfortable bed I've slept in at a hotel. Room facilities were excellent. The staff at the Kings Head were very attentive and very friendly (with a couple of real characters!)this created a great atmosphere that added to the enjoyment of staying here. We only had breakfast during our stay as we were out during the day, there was a great selection to cater for all tastes and was of a high standard (with local and organic produce). Some friends have had dinner at the hotel and they thoroughly enjoyed their evening and the food. I would definitely stay at this hotel again and would like to thank all of the staff at the Kings Head for making our stay so enjoyable. (3304034245)

The room and hotel in general was gorgeously decorated with very high standards of cleanliness. The facilities in the room were well thought out with very nice touches. Everything you could need and more was there. The bed was fantastic - one the most comfortable beds I've slept in at a hotel!
