Good position in central Pau Clean well appointed room.

There was a lot of external noise. Friends with a rear facing room did not hear any of it. On check out I was going to be charged a higher rate than I booked until I queried it.

No air conditioning in room, and room facing sun all day, so was very hot and impossible to sleep at night. Bed was comfortable and size of room was fine. Breakfast was basic even for a budget hotel - some muesli would have been good, instead of cornflakes tasting of cardboard. Rolls were fresh though. Because we had no sleep we were obviously not happy. The gentleman on duty in reception the whole time we were there and who also sorted out our breakfast was very helpful and courteous, and friendly. We hope you pass this on to him. (3304512415)

Functional, clean and cozy.

Convenient, adequate facilities, clean. View of Place Clemenceau spoilt at the moment by major construction work though sound proofed windows prevented this from being a nuisance. Friendly reception. (3304428559)
