clean and tidy room, nice large bed, helpfull staff, breakfast was sufficient

the air conditioning was not working in our room and it was a very hot night which made it very uncomfortable and as on the ground floor and due to the noise from the main road couldnt leave a window open and the fan was very noisey, but thankfully it worked.

The room was good, but my checking in exsperience was a nightmare and for this reason I will certainly never again book a room at the Premier Inn. And I will also share my esperience with our company director and travel department. (97186357)

The room and the bed was very comfortable

The checking in desk had no prior notification of my booking, eventhough I had a booking number if I dident insist on getting the room I booked I would have been refused my stay I had to pay 5£ just to proof on the computer that I had a booking confirmation. I felt embarrased and belittled infront of other guest checking in.

Very roomy and well laid out

Invariably all double rooms only have ONE chair!!

Where, initially, the approach to the hotel was somewhat off-putting its actual setting was surprisingly appealing. What helped here was everything Sharon (absolute diamond at Reception) had done to smooth our journey - i.e., by mailing local map, arranging early booking-in, and all else she offered throughout our visit. Our ground floor room overlooked the lake, was spacious, extremely clean and tidy and provided with a most comfortable bed so could not have been better suited to our needs. Having enjoyed 5-Star comforts throughout the world, we can confirm that only the very 'picky' would ignore the fact that the hotel offers great value. Breakfast provided at 'The Quay' was first rate, as was a superb evening meal. (99763982)

Oue 'Excellent' rating throughout says it all. High flying globetrotters might want more but who wants other frills than great comfort, excellent service and good food? In short - GREAT VALUE.

The environment beyond the hotel (a trading estate) might have been more enticing but sit in the grounds, especially beside the lake, and one can ignore the rest.

This is a comment on the online booking process, as we had problems!!! A confirmation e-mail was recieved @ 09.07 on 14/10/06 after the online booking, on arriving at the hotel there was no record of the booking. The reception staff were excellent in sorting out the problem!!!! (99844334)

Good, clean and functional

Bit tight with the tea bags in the room (2 only)

We had a great time and will deffintly be going back!!! The only thing that wasn't so good was the noise in the evening coming from the resturant but the hotel did warn us of this when we arrived, with the windows shut it wasn't really a problem (3305243590)

It's nice and succluded but yet readily accessible at the same time, and the veiw was really good, the soaf was really cool!!

Nothing that springs to mind

it was ok just for one night but no bar, restaurant so wanted coffee at 10.30 either had to stay in room or walk and try to find somewhere. Lack of air conditioning is a major concern. very basic room and hot water not very hot at all. would only stay in this hotel if going to a local party again (3305233793)
