I thought it was very expensive for the basic room that we recieved. Moreover, i thought that the dining facilities were atrocious, i have never had such an awful meal.

The only problem was that we had hoped to walk to the NEC but there was no walking route. The complex is just not set up for that. Despite only being 15 minutes we ended up walking across car parks, alongside roads with no footpath, on grass verges, even over a fence. Can't something be done? (107115764)

Checking in procedure efficient and informative Room excellent and extremely quiet, even though close to airport. Excellent location for visit to NEC. Majority of staff were friendly and efficient. Breakfast was good - with wide range of choice (first time I've ever been offered vegetarian sausages with breakfast). By far the best Premier Inn we have stayed in!

Bar staff - even when quiet, waited a long time to be served. Although our orer was correct, due to being foreign one gentleman got both of his drinks incorrect!

Reception was very clean, bright and welcoming. Room itself was well laid out and clean. Extra security doors were a good idea so that people couldn't enter the coridoor unless they had a room key.

General cleanliness of the bathroom was poor with a dirty toilet, bath soakaway and edges of bath. Breakfast was slightly overcooked, hard fried eggs and no toast available. Need more information in the room regarding opening times of the restaurant.

No breakfast included in price, £115 is steep for a value Hotel esp when the Queen Anne room at the Hilton is only £135 with everything!! No internet!! Bed quite hard and join in the middle was uncomfortable.Unfriendly staff, especially behind the bar and breakfast room. Set Breakfast for £7 and no other choice isnt good some people would like the option of just paying for fruit and cereal and not a full English which was cold and scarce. No one asked us if we had a satisfactory stay when checking out!! Noise in carpark for a lengthy period of time after 1am with no Security to solve.

The waiting staff in restaurant were very helpful and it is clear all are happy in their work. A real gem of a hotel. Reasonable priced hotel accomodation very well placed for both the NEC and the airport. Large comfotable room with all the usual basics provided. My stay was spoilt by the facility for smokers who stand under the lobby outside where most residents can hear them, I was kept awake for 2 hours during the night listening to their drunken shouting. I would not stay @ the Hotel again unfortunately I we were unable to sleep due to the noise of the other Residents. The Bar was a disaster as the Till would not open and when it was fixed the Barperson rang in the drinks incorrectly 2 x drinks costing some £550.00! The bar was not stocked and all I had asked for was a Baileys and a Tia Maria! The whole process took 20 mins although we laughed about it re saying it was like being in a dessert! This is a very good hotel serving the NEC but lacks the fundimantal basics. (97221744)
