We arrived later than expected and in the dark which was not ideal.As the restaurant was closed the proprietor brought food to our room(buffet style).Our rooms were lovely and very clean.As we have relatively young children it would have been better if our 2 rooms had been closer together - they were on separate floors and this meant my husband and I had to sleep in different rooms. This would be worth checking for anyone travelling with children.We were too late to use the restaurant but it looked lovely.We would certainly recommend this hotel to anyone who likes rustic charm in a lovely quiet setting.It is an interesting and fun place to stay and the children liked it.
