We were visiting to attend a funeral. Hotel is very Central and in a nice quiet area. Lovely breakfast with attentive staff. I do think because of the accomodation it was a little overpriced. (97208443)

we were in room number 2 right above the kitchen got woken up at 05:45 also you could hear noise from the adjoining room

Lovely atmosphere in hotel. Friendly & helpful staff. Room fairly basic, but we weren't bothered - we were only staying for one night after a night out and leaving early the next morning. If had been staying longer would have asked for seaview - we overlooked the carpark at the back. (99106280)

Our stay over 2 nights was very good in all repects, especially the friendly and helpful staff, and the excellent food we had, both at dinner and breakfast. The only point i would make is that where possible, car parking could be improved, but that would be diffucult considering the location. (99643498)

angenehme Atmosph

One thing that did annoy me and my partner is that both morning, Saturday 0930am and Sunday 08.55am the cleaners tried to come in a take the tea tray (which we hadnt used yet) and towels away. On Sunday they knock the door once and came straight in at this time my partner was still in bed and I was in the bathroom. (3304972330)

The only thing I could say is decor, I think some of the rooms might need updating.

Our stay overall was fine. Apart from the room being far too small it was a nice place to stay and was perfectly located for sightseeing around Portsmouth. If I thought that we could have a bigger room, I would go back and stay. (3304223922)

Location was very good. We never ate dinner in the hotel but breakfasts were also good. Staff very helpful and friendly.

Poor parking area identification at rear of hotel. Drove around 3 times before identifying parking area. Then no access from rear into hotel.

A good quality hotel with friendly and efficient staff. We were staying with our 9 month old child and were made to feel very welcome at meal times despite his uproar and food-missile tendancies. Breakfast was good and contained variety -(not just full English). We'd book again. (3304518835)

It was clean and comfortable with an unexpected seaview.Everything function as it should.

I found the website very informative, and although I am disabled, knew beforehand about the access to the Hotel entrance, and restaurant, ie:- steps and stairs, I was pleased about the elevator to the floor where our room was situated. No problem there. On the whole our stay was very pleasant, the hotel was clean and felt homely and welcoming, you felt sure if you had any questions or requests they would be adequately answered by a very efficient and caring staff. We received a very friendly welcome to the hotel and all the staff were polite and helpful. As we were parked on the road outside the hotel we were immediately given temporary car parking tickets for that evening and the next morning which was most useful. The room was spacious and clean and the breakfast next morning was extremely good. We would have no hesitation in staying here again, although our stay on this occasion was only for one night.
