I would recommend this chateau to anyone, but it isn't cheap! The family friendly atmosphere is wonderful, you help yourself to drinks in the house or by the pool and settle up at the end of your stay. The pool area and grounds are lovely. The cordon bleu cooking is delicious, dinner starts with drinks on the lawn or in one of the salons and then the evening's 3 course menu is read to you (no choice but just pipe up early if you have dietary requirements) - 40 euro a head plus drinks, well worth it. I was 6 months pregnant and they were happy to prepare my meat and fish 'bien cuit' without any fuss! (3304786099)

Staying at the chateau is like staying at a family friend's home, incredibly welcoming and trusting. The rooms are all beautifully decorated and furnished, the service excellent and the facilities wonderful.

You are not allowed to have picnics in the grounds even though lunch was not made available by the chateau. As it is such a lovely location it would have been nice to eat there during the day as well when not out sightseeing.
