Nice public area, nice staff.

There were 2 couple, ourselves and another couple.
Both of our cars were broken in to. No damage and nothing taken. One car had the door lock broken.
That spoiled it for us

Family friendly hotel with a nice lounge area. In a good location.

Some noise in early hours when local bars and clubs were closing.

A small and basic hotel which was a good place for a stopover.
(97395115)

Our room for five had a double bed plus a modern bunk bed, the bottom of which folded out into another double bed. The children crawled under the bed on the vinyl-lay floor and didn't get dirty, so a very clean room! Very near to restaurants and bars and we were told our room card would get us in the front door late should we be late back.

No lift and we were on the third floor, ok for us but may be a problem for some people. Plus the parking seemed to be on the street.

Having stayed at the hotel in the past we were aware of its exellent location for ameneties in Callais. The hotel, which had been refurbished since our last stay, was spotlessly clean, with the room cleaned and beds remade every day.The young lady at the desk was friendly, efficient and spoke very good English. All told, the hotel is exellent for a short business or pleasure stay.

We stayed on the top floor, so a lift would have been useful.

The hotel was very clean, we liked the breakfast, bar area very much. Could not fault this accomodation for value. The hotel is off the main road so is not to noisey. Great stay.

Good accomodation but do not leave anything behind because it will simply be thrown away without any attempt being made to contact you.

Clean, comfortable, easy to find.

My daughter left abag containing a bible and class art very important to her etc. We returned two weeks later and the bag was no longer there and no attempt had been made to contact me to arrange collection of this.

Basic but clean

The person on the check in desk was unhelpful, miserable and bad tempered, the hotel in my opinion is NOT gay friendly at all

reasonably priced, good location to the local bars/resturants on a nighttime and also the ports from were you depart back to the u.k. and the friendly cat that my girlfriend liked.

overall it was preety good apart from having to try and make the shower work propley and in a fashion were it stayed still, and also the main ceiling light didnt work by using the main switch.

A larger map of Calais on the Web site would have been usefull.Luckilly we are familier with the area and knew, more or less ,where we were going.Whilst we stayed at a quiet time of year,I Cannot find fault at all with this hotel. We travel extensively throughout the year.

A lovely warm and friendly welcome from M. and Mme Duhamel who run the 'Pension' and speak good english. We appreciated that we were given a key for the front door so we didn't feel as though we had to be back at a certain time. The breakfast (which costs a few euros extra) was a continental one with coffee/tea and croissants and plenty of bread and a wide choice of jams etc and we thought it was good value. We were able to put the car in one of the private garages and thought this was an excellent additional service. We will definitely stay there again.

The room was clean and provided all we needed for our overnight stay. The bed was comfortable and because it is on a side street it was quiet. Excellent location.
