unfortunately for us a wedding party was going on under our room window which was loud and the weding guests some where very loud untill the early hrs inside the hotel i think a reduction in our room price would have been a good gesture we had breakfast in our room altough v good no butter was provided for the toast

Breakfast a bit limited especially the cold buffet, too late to get brakfast if leaving early. having to get on hands and knees to plug in kettle etc bit difficult as you get older, no fridge, no safe in room, prefer seperate shower especially in deluxe room difficult to and dangerous to have to climb inand out of bath. room very noisy when Jazz event on in conservetory, taxis very expensive too and from the hotel, would be best if reception stuck to callin Cambridge cabs and not Newmarket once ( 8 pound premium) was moved to room 10 the red was a bit overpowering, difficult to sit on toilet due to lack of room, tv need upgrading, again difficult to use kettle too low need londer lead or higher table.

Plumbing and fittings needed upgrading in bathroom

Generally the hotel was of a standard that I was expecting the room was very comfortable and everything worked well. The staff were extremely welcoming and helpful. We enjoyed a delicious meal in the restaurant very peaceful just what we needed and enjoyed a lovely breakfast in the conservatory looking out on to the beautiful grounds. (97958679)

Very enjoyable from beginning checking in and departure. The outside tables do need some repair on the patio and cloths when eating outside would be nice too. It was very hot and a fan was supplied which was good as no ac. Will definetly stay again. (3304683868)

Quiet location and high quality hotel with a unique styling

Excellent country house hotel, within a few minutes of the M11. My room was vast, comfortable and well-equipped. Restaurant was good English hotel standard, with reasonably priced wines. Service was immaculate, but as I seemed to be the only person staying in the hotel that night perhaps it should be. (3304051060)

The rooms were themed around horses. They were very very spacious and well equipped for an exceedingly comfortable stay. The cooked english breakfast was of an excellent standard and there was plenty of choice. There was a large car park. The setting was divine.
