Very satisfied, did not get a chance to use leisure facilities.
(107670760)

Free wired internet (ethernet cable provided). Clean and spacious. Good value for money. Breakfast very tasty with good quality ingredients used.

Bed much too hard, no air conditioning, only ventilation was a french window leading out onto a shared balcony. Quite a walk from the city centre and in the middle of a building site.
Hywel from Cardiff, GB (Group of work colleagues) 20 August 2008
The hotel will be in a good position when the new docks area developemt is complete, which I believe is 2010.
(107249750)

Large rooms, well laid out.

The whole area is one big building site, we asked to move hotel room. A good 25 minute walk into temple bar. You are required to use a swimming cap in the pool - which is a first for me!

we all had a good time in dublin liked the hotel but wouldnt use it again as it was to far out would rather be nearer shops and pubs

Christopher from newport, GB (Group of adult friends) 14 March 2008
Near enough to the city center ,15min walk , there was a lot of building work going on and therefore a lot of noise early in the morning.
(97484477)

The cleanliness and facilities were very goon

Noisy building work around

It was clean and tidy, with all amenities provided

The charge of ten euros for the internet, it should be complimentary for the first ten minutes to allow guests to check emails and then charged after this point

good value for money, good location, very clean and tidy.
would be better if there was more information on line about the pool and beauty treatments, as they need to be booked in advance, someone who is there for only 1 or 2 nights would miss out.
i would return to this hotel in a flash

excellent hotel, nice and modern, very clean and tidy. good location. nice comfortable rooms

some of the staffs english was poor, found it very difficult to communicate and get my questions answered fully
Anonymous (Group of adult friends) 25 April 2007
The hotel was'nt situated in a great area but taxi's were good although expensive. Room, hotel and spa were very clean and comfortable and the only negative was the noise from the cleaning staff from 8.30am with someone entering our room.
(99276077)

The rooms were spacious, clean, nice bathroom

The hotel was very noisy from 8.30am with someone entering our room to clean.

I would definatly go back to this hotel as liked the reception the staff gave us when we arrived and througout our stay.
Appreciated that they kept our rooms close together and in a quieter area of the hotel as we weren't rowdy and didn't want disturbing through the night.
The food in the hotel was very expensive during the day although very tasty. The early bird menu/set menu we had before going out for the evening was much better value and everyone was impressed. The chicken curry I had was so tasty and lots of it : )
The gym was huge..lots of machines with tv screens and up to date, clean and spacious. The pool was a good size for avid swimmers, steam room, sauna & Jaccuzzi great.
Loved this hotel..can you tell!!
(99688703)

Friendliness and helpfulness of staff. Made us feel very welcome and at ease. Organises taxi's for us and gave us directions to and from places without hesitation. Hotel was so fresh and clean...loved the apples on reception and in the gym area... very nice touch! Our rooms were cleaned and maintained daily.

The surrounding area was in the middle of construction so when we opened the curtains to the balcony..it looked like Benidorm!!!! Tee Hee!! Once that has been completed it will be fine.

A very clean and modern hotel with pleasant staff. A relaxed atmosphere. Only had time for snack lunch, which was fine. Managed to view the gym/leisure facilities. Great if you had time to use them. Location of hotel is near river and a good brisk 10 minute walk to all tourist attractions. Regeneration of water front taking place and this feels good.
Disappointed with bathroom. Expect better from 4 star hotel in the bath product/mirror department! In future would need to bring one!
Overall enjoyed the stay. Lovely modern hotel, but expensive.
(99195182)

The general cleanliness, design and spacious bedroom.

The bath/shower products and lack of magnifying mirror in the bathroom. The automatic mini bar dispenser being out of order.
Anonymous (Young couple) 05 January 2007
Hotel is situated just out of town (only about 20mins walk). There seems to be alot of building works around the hotel area although they weren't running during new year. Main restuarant serves very nice food (if a little bit expensive).

Noise from corridors, could smell smoke from other people in hotel from our room.

The hotel is newly constructed to a high standard the area around the hotel is being developed which bares well to its location just of the quay side. Will definitely stay here again on the next visit to Dublin.
(3304355212)

We stayed in an executive room which was excellent.
Kevin from Glossop, United Kingdom;GB (Solo business traveller) 07 February 2006
A really good hotel. Still finishing the underground car park. The ISDN connection wasn't working which was inconvenient. The air conditioning in the restaurant wasn't working properly. Once they sort these things out it will be a great place to stay. I would definitely go back.
(3304180851)

The leisure facilities are absolutely top class

A very new hotel with a few teething problems
Anonymous (Young couple) 26 January 2006

the only thing i would say is that when i go back it will be in the summer other than that no problems, there was building work going on round the hotel but that did not bother us.
(2848482)

we have stayed in quite a few hotels but this one beats every one we have stayed in, it had a swimming pool sauna gym ect all at free of charge, our rooms were beutiful even had a ice bucket for your drinks and on the landing was a ice makeing machine there was nothing we had to ask for as every thing was there, we got room service one night it was very fairly priced and enjoyable staff were very nice, could not fault any thing, the only thing i have to say is i will highly recomend this hotel to any one, a lovely 5-10 min walk along the river leafy, going to go back in the summer and will stay at the quality hotel again

could not think of any thing

We should have been informed of the building work going on around the hotel. We had a break from work and the noise was really bad. I cant fault the room but staff needs to be trained up properly prior to opening! We asked the porter to make a booking at a restaurant and book a taxi for us in the morning and by 6pm that evening nobody knew if this was done. We were told that they would find out and phone us back within 15 minutes but we had to phone and ask again after 30 minutes and my husband was rushed on the phone. Big lack of customer service!
(2722433)

Nice hotel. Could of informed us that the hotel was situated in a building site. Our room was nice.

We know the hotel has only been open for a couple of weeks but the staff could have been trained better.
Dawn from Gateshead, United Kingdom;GB (Mature couple) 29 September 2005
The hotel is of an excellent standard with spacious rooms and well equipped facilities. The staff are friendly, polite and very helpful - a credit to the company. The food was very tasty, well presented and there was plenty of choice. Don't be put of by the building work going on in the area - just take a look at the opposite bank of the river and you'll see what they're aiming for - and lets face it how much time will you actually be spending in your room when there are so many fantastic places to visit in Dublin. A leisurley walk along the River Liffey will take you into the centre of town and takes about 15 minutes or taxi's are readily available from the hotel reception for the less energetic.
(2692103)

Room size was excellent. Hotel facilities were very good. Staff were friendly, polite and very helpful. Food was good quality and of a high standard.

The ironing station in our room was broken and we were unable to use it which was disappointing considering the hotel has been open only a few weeks. It is important for housekeeping to do daily checks and report broken or faulty equipment so that it can be repaired / replaced quickly. The hotel is new and of a high standard please keep it this way.

Ari from HELSINKI, Finland;FI (Family with young children) 20 September 2005
The location is not very optimum. Middle of area under heavy construction. Probably some day when it's possible to reach the hotel just walking by the river it would be very nice place for staying.
(2402652)

Large and clean rooms. The spa area was nice especially for our three years old son

For breakfast also some fresh vegetables and cheeses would be nice to have

good standard of accmodation

the check in was fairly slow.could have done with an extra member of staff
Caroline from Barnsley, United Kingdom;GB (Same sex couple) 17 September 2005
The hotel was everything I expected and more, based in the developing dockland area by the side of the Liffey it's just a short 10 min stroll into Dublin. Also used the restaurant and although the service was a little slow the food was excellent. Test this new hotel out while you can at the cheap intro price. Top notch
(2490901)

The hotel was excellent and worth trying to book at the introductory rate if its available

Car Park not yet available, so take note if you have a car
jeffrey from Newport, United Kingdom;GB (Mature couple) 13 September 2005
apart from the noise and work being carried out in and around the hotel I had a lovely break with my wife. This was due to the friendly co-operation of your staff
(2194282)

very friendly and helpful

the way you suppy the coffee at breakfast, poor girl was constantly being asked to providing coffee in very small pots between cleaning the tables and all other duties
Anonymous (Group of work colleagues) 11 September 2005
That the hotel was situated in what is effectively a building site. I counted over 16 cranes viewed from the front door. Eventually this will be a good hotel in a well developed area.
(2589446)

The swimming facilities and size of bedroom

Finish. this new hotel still needed snagging. eg the door to the bathroom did not close (or even get close to closing), some light switches in changing rooms were face plates, some wire were sticking out of walls and simply taped over, settings for taps and hand driers were not adjusted to suitable limits, car parking as advertised was not available as it was still being finsihed by builders

Hopefully once the surrounding area is developed a better public transport link will become established. Also the staff will be more knowledgeable about the area. Unfortunately, twice during our stay and taxis not apppearing on time we missed the beginning of important meetings. Also the taxi on the last day was ordered for the wrong room number for our trip back to the airport.
(2618783)

The overall cleanliness and the leisure facilities

As this was a new hotel unfortunately the taxi drivers did not know where to come and on two occasions did not turn up. Possibly more staff on reception would be a big help.
