Situation of hotel was excellent. Car park was an extra bonus. The room was a good size, tastfully furnished and spotlessly clean.Staff couldn't have been more helpful or pleasant. We enjoyed our stay and would not hesitate to return in the future. (97466645)

Choice at breakfast was a bit limited

From the moment we arrived we fell in love with Ambleside, the ambience and the friendliness of the locals. The reception from the staff was equally warm. Great accommodation for modern discerning customer. Despite other comments (previous e-reports) breakfast was delicious and filling. No complaints whatsoever. We will be booking up again soon! Nice contemporary look to the reception & breakfast area. Room was average size for a B&B in the Lake District and was clean and fresh. Staff were excellent. Breakfast was contintental but plentiful with lots of choices and excellent all round quality. (2406683)
