As we were new to this part of France, signage for the Chateau could be a little clearer. We liked the location, and the food and service for our evening meal was excellent although a little pricey but the room rate was very reasonable. (99999727)

Nothing apart from the only member of staff who seemed to be on duty the entire 24 hours we were there who was very nice and efficient.

Everything - the hotel looks like it has been caught in the time warp of a 1950s horror movie - decorated either by the set designer of Psycho or Whatever Happened to Baby Jane

We visited off season and it was still quite wintry. As a result it was very quiet and the gardens had not started to bloom and we were 2 out of the total 3 guests. Consequently, it was beautifully quiet, we had fantastic service and dinner was excellent but we missed the hustle and bustle of other guests being around. We definitely intend to revisit in warmer months and see the chateau in all its splendour. The history of its being is a lovely story and this just added to its charm (3304228979)

They have more work to do improving facilities but it was really gorgeous in its slightly faded splendour
