We were greeted in a pleasant manner and made to feel welcome. The food was tasty, well presented and we liked the choices. The staff were excellent and looked after us very well. Our room was cosy but the furnishings rather worn (the bedspread and mattress)but we were nonetheless comfortable. (97055297)

the rooms were clean but the room was old looking and the room was up and down stairs too far to walk no porter service for bags and it seemed that we had payed so we did not matter no air conditioning we had to buy a fan from town all guests had this complaint too hot in rooms. (3304229133)

Nothing springs to mind I had checked out the hotel on the web and was very happy with what it had to offer, and I would subjest that Jersey Tourist Board up grade you from a 2 to at least 3+ if this is possible, We will almost certainly be back and would recomend you to our friends. (2549774)

WE were very happy with the room standard and the size, and any food we had in the hotel was excellent.

Some times with a room at the front it can get a bit noisy.

The hotel is a nice base to explore the island from. I would recommend the coach tours because although car hire is reasonable, parking and traffic can be horrendous. The public bus service runs to all the major tourist attractions as well. The food in the restraunt is very good along with excellant service. (3304093450)

We found the general condition of the room to be very comfortable, clean, and well serviced. Breakfast was quite nice, service waiters we found were extremely pleasent, nothing seemed to be too much trouble, even difficult customers were served with a smile. (3304163826)

Evening meal that we had was not very satisfactory. Pork burger type meal was extremely poor quality. Vegetables were bland especially the cabbage. This comment was only applicable to the evening meal.

Overall was very pleased with the hotel. Can imagine that it would not appeal to very young holidaymakers, but for us that was something of a bonus. Lots of facilities that we didn't use, as the weather was so good and we just wanted to get out and about. Choice of food was very good, even compared with many of the luxury hotels we've stayed in elsewhere in the UK and the world. Always having an interesting vegetarian dish was a welcome change, not that we're vegetarians but most nights I went for the v option as it seemed (and turned out to be) so nice. (2291118)
