The saving grace it was only one night.

Location - close to the M1 for a quick getaway.

All floors creaked excessively. Bedroom, corridors, stairs. The full english breakfast was the worst I have ever experienced. Everything was overdone. staff's focus was on getting ready for lunchtime and not bothering about breakfast customers.

Good size room, staff pleasant

Room too hot, shower poor, having to go to reception for hair dryer, uninspiring location.

On check in, there was confusion to weather I had booked for one night or two. The booking form I had showed one night, but the hotel had me down for two.
In the bar, I tried to pay for a drink with a Northern Irish bank note (which of course is Sterling) to be told they only accept Scottish or English notes. I always thought Northern Ireland was part of the UK too???!!!
However, a nice Maltease bar person sorted it out for me.

The cost of the room was expensive as it did not include breakfast the room was clean but the bed was not comfortable and the pillows were even worse!

This is a nicely situated hotel, easily got to from the M1. It had everything you would expect from this type of accommodation but what struck me the most was the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff. We arrived very late in the evening and left very early the next morning. The staff member who booked us in was fantastic and even waved us off in the morning from the front door of the hotel. Its things like this that make the difference between an average serive and an excellent one. There were some problems with the check-in process but I believe this was due to teething problems with the computer system.

New, comfortable accommodation and friendly staff

Reception area seemed a bit small and hairdryers in room would be nice.

The Bluebell Inn is a new building and everything was in pristine condition. The staff appeared well trained & courteous and the stay was very pleasant.

One colleague (Room 27) found his bathroom shower tap would only operate on very hot or very cold. Presumably a fault with the mixer unit.
