Very pleased to find a reasonably priced hotel in Reykiavik not too far from the city centre - very helpful staff wrt restaurants, grocery stores - breakfast was excellent - internet access great- (99650818)

Kitchen facilities in room, excellent and fulsome breakfast, extra cot supplied, friendly staff

web site made it difficult to confirm 4 guests in one room(two adults and two children) as well as request for extra cot - led to being asked to pay for extra cot when we thought we had already paid for it - we didn't pay extra in the end due to our email which clearly said two children and asked for cost confirmation (never received) - was a little noisy but since we also had children with us that was okay

I would definitely recommend this place to stay as good value for money in a very expensive city. It is however slightly off the beaten track so you rely on taxis or a good pair of legs to get around! (99948928)

For Reykjavik the hotel was incredibly reasonably priced, the rooms were decent, the breakfast very good. There was a friendly atmosphere and all the staff were very helpful.

The curtains could be thicker given the midnight sun in Iceland! There wasn't a great deal in the immediate vicinity, but presumably this accounted for the reasonable price and taxis weren't that expensive into the centre anyway.

Absolutely stinking bathroom (never cleaned drain pipes?) which pervaded the whole room - trying to disguise it with shake and vac carpet cleaner was even worse. Avoid Room 301!

The hotel was adequate. The staff seemed overworked; some days the room never did get made up. Clean towels were available, but we had to go track down a staff person to get them. (99315943)
