The owners had recently bought the hotel and were in process of modernizing bathrooms no inconvenience was caused and can only improve the hotel for future guests

Parking could be a bit of a problem. We were lucky and managed to get quite close (in the street). Stairs could be a problem for some - we were asked if it was a problem to us and, presumably, if it had been, we would have been moved.

Delightfully warm and welcoming. Lovely atmosphere. Room beautifully clean, bed very comfortable. They catered for my gluten free diet at breakfast,better than any hotel I have ever stayed in. Breakfast was delicious and everyone was very warm and helpful. An all round good experience to be recommended. (97667477)
