I would definitely not stay at this hotel again. However, most of the staff were very helpful. (107170550)

negative comments The hotel is very run down and needs complete refurbishment. I was very very disappointed with it.

I travel a lot for my job and this has to be the worst hotel I have stayed in. I will be in Plymouth numerous times over the next 6 months and will be extremely picky when booking. (97905171)

positive comments Friendly staff
negative comments At some point the door had been forced to my room, being a single female I found that slightly alarming. Bedspread was stained, no duvet cover, draw front hanging off, shower dripped constantly, whole hotel smelt of stale smoke oh and the towel had seen better decades!

We only stayed the one night, the room was adequate for us .The furnishings in the room looked a bit tired but the breakfast made up for all that. The staff we came in contact with were very helpful and friendly. (99642014)

positive comments good value for money, breakfast was one of the best we have had at any other hotel.
negative comments not much for what we paid

This hotel was ok stayed in alot better but also worse. the rooms were nothing startling but then for the money you couldn't really complain. The breakfast was lovely and the staff were ever so helpful and couldn't do enough for you. the only other thing that kind of spoild it for us was the bar opening times or should I say the bar closing times it closed at 11pm resident or not and you couldn't get a drink out of them for love or money after this shame really as this sort of spoilt our stay (99545238)

positive comments closness to the event
negative comments the bed was hard and uncomfortable

all round friendly, nice staff, always willing to help, in general the bar staff were excellent, a little polish hirl, what a cracker!!! but anyaway, back to the subject i hand, it was a ver nice and enjoyable weekend, cant comment on breakfast, as i was always far to drunk to venture to the breakfast room in the morning, it was more like... looking were my next pint was coming from instead, but i would reccomend this hotel to any person going for a weekend to plymouth. 5 star!!! Excellent value for money accomodation, just out of the city centre, but adjacent to the Tor Point ferry crossing. Clean, spacious accomodation with an excellent breakfast. (2901695)

positive comments Clean, spacious, nice view and secure parking.
negative comments Obviously, originally a naval hotel and some of the decor is dated

My Friend and i had a very enjoyable stay and found the hotel to be better situated for people not wishing to explore the city centre but enjoy a qiueter side of plymouth where walks, bars and restaurants were easily accessible by foot, and crowds were non-existent. (2740633)

positive comments It was very clean and comfortable and the staff were very curtious
negative comments No suggestions
