Efficient and friendly staff made our short stay enjoyable. The breakfast buffet provided everything I would want to eat for breakfast. The swimming pool and leisure facilities were a pleasure to use.

Foyer was very cold, but this was due to adverse weather conditions constantly blowing doors open, making it incomfortable to sit there.

location excellent for access to local transport infrastructure proximity to local amenities and yet superb views over surrounding countryside whilst given near distance to motorway surprisingly you wouldn't know it was there. Sports facilities a healthy option if somewhat restricted by size to accommodate many users

some of bulbs in room needed replacing - hotel size and location mean it is used a lot for 'events', nights out, tribute bands/ shows etc with non residents so car park can get busy meaning quite a hike to / from car

it was a good sized room.

they didnt have our booking even when we quoted reference number so we were lucky they had a vacancy.breakfast could have been warmer and the plates were cold. the kettle didnt work but they did replace it when we told them.

The bar area is in an open foyer along with reception. This got cold due to the automatic doors constantly being kept open by the smokers standing just outside it!

For a 4 star hotel I thought it was the worst I've ever stayed in, we ordered breakfast in the room, which was cold and dried up,even the second attempt at delivering the food, food was only just warm, hotel only refunded delivery charge of £3.50, didn't seem bothered at all

This was a short and sweet stay as I was there at 11pm and out at 08.15 am. Just wanted to say that I love the coffee to go and muffins at the bar. I've only seen coffee to go at other places and I don't always want to spend a lot for a small breakfast. (99951240)

This once modern hotel has a rather tired air about it now. The bathrooms are almost a 70's period piece. The television is equally dated. The extortionately high cost of broadband discouraged us from using it. We left without breakfast, so I cannot comment on that. (99754712)

I didn't know that I needed to pay for towels in the gym until I got there. The chairs in reception really stank of cigarette smoke. Need a bigger sign outside because I missed it and ended up going down that huge hill towards Halifax.

Clean well run a very good location for the M62 and for easy acess to sorounding area and both Huddersfield and Halifaxa. Adequte parking. Breakfast should be included even though I dont eat breakfast myself i am sure other guests may like it. (3305155337)

Quiet and comfortable

Would recommend to others however, would advise them to eat out for breakfast. Prices are fine if travelling on a business account but I stayed with 4 other adults and 3 children and full breakfast would have cost us over (3305081546)

Very clean,reception staff & cleaning team very friendly & helpful. Easy to find & good parking facilities. Good to see a decent shower in the room! Ironing board & iron provided which came in handy!

As it was very hot - need air con although staff at reception helpfully provided us with a couple of fans! As on 3rd floor we felt room could have some larger windows that opened. Weekend very busy at hotel and noise from wedding party kept us awake. Pool was not very clear - might have needed some chemicals? Food (breakfast in particular) too expensive. Needed more tea, milk etc in room.
