You won't be staying in a 1980s travel lodge. This is a long-standing, traditional hotel which, whilst it could be brought up to date at some cost, provides a value for money experience - and you are not lacking anything in terms of facilities. Its strengths are the courtesy of the staff, and the quality of the dining room and the breakfast. Bolton by night can be a bit lively towards the weekend, and you will probably hear some night club noise. (97977678)

The outside was lovely and the lobby and eating areas were also lovely it looked very posh but homely at the same time.

The room its self was disgusting it was absolutly filthy, the bed throw was yellow in patche's and the bath had brown stains, the coffe cups had hair and dust in them and the room smelled foisty.Also the radiator in the room didnt work so it was really cold and we had to sleep with our jumpers on !

We were told that the resurant had a set menue, for dinner, with a choice of meals we went in there at about 7.45pm and the only thing we fancied was the chicken only be told that they had ran out. At the time the resurant was empty and had been when we looked in earlier,there were three people in the time so how they were supposed to have ran out I could not understand, why put it on the menue in the first place. We went over the road and had a meal in Weatherspoons (99104674)

When I dropped something on the floor I looked under the bed and this had not been cleabned for weeks there were bits of fluff, plastic bag and other bits of rubbish
