Hotel Savoy

I left computer leads in my room and they were sent to my home address after I spoke to someone (a male) on reception. The staff at all times were friendly and extremely accommodating. The only downside was the quality of the breakfast I found the hot food dry and tired looking. However, that would not stop a return visit. (97427521)

The rooms were like walking into a plot from the TV show Life on Mars. 70s was the last time anything had been changed, from the furnature to the grotty green bathroom with painfull shower.

Good sized room, good central location of hotel with carpark, friendly staff.

Bed a bit lumpy. Noisy guests in rooms nearby (but there was a wedding on). Gaggles of smokers standing outside the front of the hotel.

Perhaps my only niggle with this hotel was finding it! some more detailed directions from the airport would have helped me considerably, However the local people were very friendly and i eventually found it. The food is good and overall a very enjoyable stay. (99754976)

Very clean and easy to find everything nice and simple

generally a pleasant hotel, easy walking distance to shops, restaurants etc. we did have a few concerns over the quality and standard of our room on arrival, the room was a throwback to the 70's,stained carpets,2 single beds pushed together, and far below what i would expect for £90.00 per night. we were shown another room which was exactly the same as the first, and when i pointed out that when i booked i was lead to believe the hotel had been refurbished i was told that only part of the hotel had been refurbished, however we were given one of the refurbished rooms which was lovely and finished to a high standard and we really enjoyed our stay their. i would like to point out to prosective clients that it only appears like 6 rooms have been improved and i certainly wouldn't have stayed if we were left with the room we were given initially. greater vegetarian options in the hotel restaurant. I would have liked a shower as well as a bath.

We were very impressed with the hotel, good location close to the shops and beach. The staff were so friendly and helpful it made our break more pleasurable. We certainly we go back again. (1883011)
