Very welcoming hosts, who were helpful and informative about the best places to visit in their area. Delicious home cooked food and delightful accommodation.

Hospitality, food and accommodation.

Only drawback was having to share a bathroom and toilet with another room.

TRES BON ACCUEIL
Ian from Derby, United Kingdom;GB (Young couple) 22 August 2006
Thoroughly enjoyable experience. We did not book evening meal prior to stay but the hosts were very accommodating at short notice. It would have therefore been useful to know that Sort en Chalosse is very isolated with nowhere else to drink or dine within the village.
We did feel however that this isolation added to the charm of the accommodation and the enjoyment of our visit.
The pool was a real bonus and also added to the enjoyment of our stay.

We liked the friendliness of hosts, the setting and quality of the accommodation, the food and the general ambience created.

Clean and Comfortable. Helpful and friendly.
Christopher from Doncaster, United Kingdom;GB (Mature couple) 09 August 2005
Overall, we had an excellent stay. I would like to particularly praise the amount of thought and effort that went into providing special meals for my wife who is allergic to wheat. She written to the Coeliac Society, holiday recommendations, to provide a review of the excellent dietry provision.
Our only (minor)suggestions which would have been nice are the provision of tea/coffee making facilities. Perhaps in the guest lounge.
The option for guests to choose to dine privately if they so wish.
Overall, it was well run and well managed. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. The provision of toiletries was most welcome. And the food was excellent. We would have no hesitation in recommending Le Petit Pedebosq.

The room was fresh, clean and welcoming. We especially liked the fact that we were provided with all the necessary toiletries e.g. shampoo and conditioner, soap etc,.

Facilities for guests to get their own tea and coffee, perhaps based in the guest lounge, would have been appreciated.
Guests were not given any choice about where they would like their meal. It was quite cool the first couple of days and we had to eat outdoors. Being given an option would have been nice.
In fact all meals were served at one large table outdoors. If one had wanted to dine quietly it would not have been possible.
Having said this, we did enjoy our communal meals. Our hosts went out of their way to introduce everyone and keep the conversation flowing.
