Lovely hotel. Great atmosphere. Love the dining room and the staff were all lovely.

Very spacious room. Great bed. Lovely bathroom.

I thought the decor was a little sparse/cold in the room (205). The desk in the middle of the floor gave it a little bit of an office feel. That's just quibbling though. The size/cleanliness was faultless.

The only major disappointment of our stay was the restaurant. The menu was basically unchanged during the six nights of our stay. This limited choice and ensured that we decided to go outside the hotel for evening meals for half of our stay.
Given the Four Star Rating of the hotel, this we felt was below par.

We had booked a cheapie flight to Shannon and were looking to spend a night nearby. We were very glad we booked into this lovely welcoming hotel, rather than staying in Limerick. The quality and spec of the hotel is great, the restaurant is superb and good value and when we were upgraded to a junior suite on a rainy and rather miserable day, it made the trip something special. The room was fantastic, fireplace, sofa etc etc and the afternoon tea we had from room service was wonderful. Add a pool and great garden and public rooms and the Dunraven Arms is a class operation. Excellent! We did feel that the charms of Adare itself were rather oversold though with only a couple of thatched cottages to see and a bit of a park. Lovely but not much to it. Go to Bunratty - it's a hoot!

The general standard of the hotel was excellent and I am sure the standard rooms were great but as it was quiet we were upgraded to a junior suite which made the stay really special.

I felt the welcome, maintenance and service were first rate and the hotel do a great job in training and maintaining the standard of the hotel

My stay was extremely pleasant and I was sorry not to be staying another night. I did not realize there was a leisure centre and an excellent one at that, when I was booking the hotel.Itwould have been an incentive for me to stay a it longer. However, the next time.......

Excellent prompt room service, staff friendly and unobtrusive. An fantastic breakfast to start off my next day's journey in warm and inviting surroundings.

From the car park it can be difficult at night to find the entrance to the hotel, especially when it is dark and raining. Better sign posting would be appreciated.
