We had a really nice stay.We had plenty to do. The golf was excellent. The walks around the hotel were very nice.The room was cleaned everyday.The staff were very helpful. Also The carparking was great.Loads of space. Overall it was a excellent hotel.Thank you Oakly Court Hotel. (3305200836)

Housekeeping was not very good

Overall it was a very nice stay. Sunday, being Mother's day was a bit dissapointing (although we did get off to a bit of a late start) no food was being served after the 10h30 breakfast had stopped. Understandably the restaurants were pre-booked, but it was odd (and disapointing) that hotel guests had no preferential treatment for bookings - nor were we made aware the night before that reserving would be necessary. Staff was friendly and our room was spacious and clean. Grounds were very nice for walking our half dog son, Rex. He very much enjoyed rolling in the grass.

Food (room service) and bar prices were of poor value but that was to be expected as most prior reviews mentioned that. The top end wine list was very nice but not much selection under 30

A very relaxed friendly atmosphere. Excellent leisure facilities. An excellent location by the river with great views.

When we were shown our room it was not explained that we needed a key from reception for the minibar.
