Very good room, very good food, all-in a very enjoyable stay.
Only very minor quibble was that the car park is a bit dificult to find without advice from the hotel staff (caused solely by Peterborough's one-way system), but the advice was excellent (and the car park was free !!).

Excellent sized room ,friendly, very helpful staff and a fantastic atmosphere.

Only one thing - the trouser press didn't work, made pressing trousers for wedding a bit tricky!

Room was clean, quiet, warm and comfortable - very good value at the weekend rate of £49.

Breakfast is overpriced at £12. Although it was fine (and plentiful), at this price I would expect cooked to order, not served from hot trays.

Nice hotel and I would probably stay again. Let down by easily manageable problems.
(3304219163)

Warm, quiet and clean

The whole hotel smelt of cigarettes..horrid! As expected the hotel, in common with so many others, fails to have devised a way of managing the inevitable volume of persons wanting to check out in the morning. As a result two staff were handling the oddly lengthy process while a crowd built up at the reception desk causing congestion. Why cant you a) schedule more staff between say 8 and 9am or/and b) think of ways of streamlining the process eg. 2 X PCs with self-checking out and payment software where customers could view and authorise their bill, only needing to talk to reception if they had a query.

Only one fault, bedroom on high street was rather noisy - mainly with early morning delivery vehicles!

General standard OK and convenient situation. Better directions needed for access to car park - we spent 20 minutes searching because we were given a misdirection. Staff need specific instruction as to how to describe the route. Better information as to breakfast costs should be available, preferably in the room. Weekend guests should be warned about disco noise within hotel late at night.

I found the actual location of the Hotel perfect for us. We found the staff very helpful. I wish I would have known tp have brought my card with me. As I booked online, I presumed they would be able to keep my details.

The room was fine for the two of us. The location could't have been better for a couple who enjoy going to pubs and clubs. The hotel looked fantastic and again the Hotel is situated in the center of everything and as we don't drive - very helpful.

me and my partner really enjoyed our stay at the Bull hotel and have recommended it to our friends and family. we felt very welcome and looked after during our stay. we also felt that our every need was taken care of, from the shampoo and heated towels to the all night bar. overall we had a very pleasant stay. even though we had a little mix-up with our bill the staff were very appologetic and amended the mistake promptly.

i liked the fact that the rooms had enough space for you to move around comfortably in. the room was not cramped like in some of the hotels we've stayed in. i felt the restaurant and bar were decorated very well and gave off a nice, cosy feel to them. the lighting was just right also for a quiet, relaxed drink with my partner.

i dont think that anything could or should be changed as i feel the hotel have it just right, the way the guests are treated is very nice and friendly.

This is my second stay in The Bull. I was very critical on my first review. This time we were given an executive room which was larger, however the air con did not work and the room was far too hot. The duty manager came and pressed a few buttons which lasted all of 10 minutes. We had to phone on three occassions for our room to be cleaned. First call at 3pm. At 4.45pm the duty manager said that the cleaners go home at 5pm??? The duty manager then came and made the bed. After last times fiasco, didn't bother using the restaurant this time, used one of the many local cafes which served good quality food and was much cheaper. If it were not for The Bulls central location I would not have anything good to say about it.

Excellent central location, clean and handy for all attractions. Had to ring to find out to get to the car park as one way system in place. Very helpful and pleasant staff.

overall the overnight stay was fine, on three occaisions no one was manning reception and I had to wait. That and the shower curtain were my only gripes.

before booking this hotel, i would highly recommend other guests to go to other link websites regarding this hotel, when i first came to book the hotel the price came through at 115.00GP, then another at 75GP.Eventually i did find a good price at 49GP, which i thought was good value. So my general review was good, reflecting the price.
(2373657)

overall, we were impressed by the standard of the hotel, but really stayed there because of its location, being central.would definatly stay again, though, would recommend that people checkout linked websites to this hotel, as there is a vast difference in price.

because of the duration of our stay, we are not really able to comment on this.
