bathroom walls and floors were not as clean as they should have been maybe its time for a spring clean but slept very very well which was suprising, as I am a bad sleeper in strange beds. there was no noise that i could here considering we were on a motorway stop

Friendly helpful staff. Clean, bright room tastefully furnished. Quiet position, no problems with overnight traffic from Service Station. Not easy to access when travelling north to south as have to come off the motorway at next exit and come back on motor way again travelling in opposite direction. An excellent hotel for an overnight stay. Reception staff were friendly and willing to help. A good-sized family room, with Sky Sports T.V.!!! Although close to the motorway, even with the window open overnight, traffic noise was not noticed. (99695382)

Excellent value for money and made break with young children very enjoyable. Could find no faults. Staff were very helpful and sociable - even with two young, very excited kids who wanted to tell the Receptionist everything we had done that day! A nice clean well positioned hotel, ideal for overnight stays when traveling to or from Devon and Cornwall.There are many pubs fairly near which offer an alternative to motorway catering, and can be accessed by using the service road.The garden centre on the A38 is well worth a visit, and if you can wait till 9.30 for breakfast they offer an in expensive English breakfast for under a fiver. However you will need to be ready to beat the coach parties arriving early. (3013585)
