Clean, tidy,quiet and non invasive as I was attending my eldest Son's Funeral at the nearby crematorium

Reception shut at 11.pm which was not pointed out to me and so there was not enough milk and coffee for my needs as we did not get back from seeing relatives until after 11.pm

Pleasant staff, good breakfast, comfortable room except for narrow double bed, slightly worn decor. (97653604)

Our stay was lovely. i had read reviews about this hotel being dated and drab and so expected this. however our room was the biggest room i have ever stayed in with a gorgeous bathroom, all very clean and airy. we had a tv bigger than the one we have at home!! i cant praise the room enough. we had a family room and it was massive. a double bed, a single and a camp bed and we still had hoards of room to move around. it really was huge.

the 3 flights of stairs to get to the room which was in the roof. not very practical with a toddler.

The hotel was set in a really nice location. the receptionist arranged for a meal as we had arrived 10 minutes after restaurant had closed which was excellent. The let down was the Jaccuzzi not working and then the power shower would not work but to be fair the hotel manager gave us a refund of 25 pounds as it was a treat for my husbands birthday which was why I had booked & paid extra for the added facilities we were not able to use.
