Staff friendly and decent value

Hotel dated and not the cleanest of places. Needs refurbishment. Some staff although being friendly, didn't seem to know basic procedures and details.

The hotel is easy to find and has plenty of parking available. All the staff are very courteous and a pleasure to deal with especially reception. (97835479)

Friendliness and efficiency of staff

All the clutter- 3 armchairs and table lamp dumped right up outside my room door.I could barely squeeze past.The adjacent room was being renovated it appeared.I think this was a fire risk hazard had there been an emergency.

Bin in the bathroom not emptied. Smoke in the room and also the corridoor from the open fire in the downstairs bar in the evening. Kettle still had water from previous occupant. TV ariel needed connecting. Room needed decorating and capets renewing in the corridoors and room.

Bar closed earlier than stated which meant it was closed when we returned from our evening out which we had not expected. Hotel setting very nice. Good value for money for type of accommodation. Food a little expensive but vey good. (3305275066)

EVERYTHING about the hotel and our stay there was excellent. Great value, great breakfast. We only stayed one night, but it was a much, much better alternative than the usual travel lodge. (3304869586)

Breakfast served until 9.30 which was useful to us.Hotel was larger than I had expected, bar areas looked comfortable and welcoming, although we did not use them. Directions given on website were very good. (3304273417)

Very pleasant staff. Breakfast was superb.Our room was at the back and was very quiet, despite its situation on the main road. Beds were comfortable, with spare blankets proving very useful.

Needs a little bit of attention to the overall appearance inside.
