Very clean and comfortable hotel and room. Close proximity to South Bank, which was the purpose of our visit to London.

If the hotel provides a small fridge as a minibar I would expect that fridge to actually be switched on. As the fridge was screwed into place it was impossible to reach beside it and turn the plug switch on. It seems a shame for an otherwise excellent hotel to provide 'cold' drinks in what was effectively a cupboard with a window in it.

This was a great hotel to stay in for exploring the city. We booked in because we were seeing friends on the saturday night but took the opportunity to spend the rest of the weekend in London - the hotel was a great base. Plus, there was easy, and relatively cheap, car parking for a 24 hr period - excellent value for money. (99249903)

Clean. Bathroom excellent.

Bed was too hard. Pillows uncomfortable. As a result of the aforementioned, neither my wife or I had a good night's sleep, and considering we had a very early train to catch the following day the lack of sleep was magnified. Also Channel 4 did not work in the room and was not foxed until after we left - this was the only channel we wanted to watch that night! One expects to have a comfortable, enjoyble night when staying in a hotel with the Novatels reputation, this includes a ggod night's sleep and watching what one wants to on the telly!

Dubious security as despite key-operated lift we found the emergency stairs open to the bedroom floors and the street for some time on Sunday morning. I wish I had known that even continental breakfast cost a staggering £13 before I went to the dining room and that the original price quoted for a night's accommodation miraculously changed from £63 on Friday to £140 for Saturday. Is this because I booked online? I thought I had read everything provided concerning prices. Nevertheless we enjoyed our weekend, thank you. (2467588)

Excellent bathroom: comfortable bed: good breakfast but VERY expensive unless you ate for the whole day at one sitting!
