Difficult to give an objective view because I had food poisoning (not from the hotel) so it was all together a rather unpleasant experience. Might give the hotel another go but ask for a better room. (108055981)

positive comments Outside of hotel looked nice and reception, bar area nice too.
negative comments he bedroom was very disappointing and the bathroom not good. Shower didn't work properly.

negative comments The room was small and cramped and dirty, the bed was small. The bathroom was just possible to get into. I was told to park in a rod nearby a but not informed Ihad to move the car by 8.00 and had my car towed away in Park Lane and had to pay

The hotel is in a nice location which the hotel should invest in. The decor of the room was dull and in need of updating. The bar wasn't always open and when it was, the drink I required wasn't available.... a bar should always have Vodka. It's a shame for the majority of staff who are friendly and helpful that some staff let them down. (2994742)

positive comments It's location
negative comments Customer Service, Decoration and a general upgrade

It is a four star hotel in London. These tend not be be as good as equivilant hotels elsewheere. Examples to demonstrate this would include the fact that there are lifts. These unfortunately are so slow that the stairs were a better option for me even though my room was on the third floor. There was a resturant for breakfast with a wide selection however the it was poor quality and or cold. The shower supplied warm water but there was little power and so on. All this said, I would probaly stay there again but this is not beacause it was a great hotel but rather it was the standard expected from our fair capital. (2978446)

positive comments The hotel is a beautiful period building opposite a very attractive city garden which boasts what I suspect to be the largest tree in town.
negative comments The room was clean but very small. The single bed was child size and the floor boards creak at every opportunity.

Really can't complain about anything. The room was aged but servicable and for the price you offered ie £70 we shouldn't expect more, so good value for money. The board price gave £110 to £180 for the family room. Had I paid this I would have refused to stay in our room (425). If the bar had a real ale (only Stella lager)I would have used it but I understand you can't guarantee to sell it and it goes off. I would reccommend the hotel as a budget accommodation for an overnight trip to london (2767475)

positive comments Location was fine. very well priced booking via internet. Breakfast was nice. First contact at the desk was very friendly and helpful
negative comments room was well aged. Peeling wallpaper and mould on walls. No shower mat. Didn't therefore have a'comfortable' feel about it

This Hotel in my opinion was good for an overnight stop. The location was good, close enough to the Tube but far enough away as to be quiet. For the price it was good value for money and I would stop there again overnight. (2841305)

positive comments Breakfast was very good and plenty of choice
negative comments The rooms are in need of re-decoration/modernisation. Some language difficulties with staff not understanding English.

The hotel common areas are nice and newspapers are provided. My room was small but recently refurbished, neat and clean.Unfortunately the ceiling started to leak and I had to request a room change. The room I was moved to obviously hadn't been updated in a while and the ceiling tiles were rather bowed and the rest of the room was a bit tired looking. That being said, I did have a good night's sleep as the bed was very comfortable. A very good English breakfast was included in the rate.Overall a good place to stay in London if you are on a budget-just make sure you get a refurbished room! (2791632)

Nice, pleasant, relaxing surroundings. Would not hesitate to book for our next trip to London at The Westminister Hotel. Excellent Value for London and fantastic breakfast. (2737111)

positive comments The property was well maintained and although undergoing redecoration outside any disruption was to a minimum.

I wanted to move check out time from 11 to 12, which was denied by management. Of course, I did not like that. (2692781)

positive comments good value for money
negative comments I would not serve individual boxes of cereals. You could cut costs by providing cereals in a big cup and guests take out as much as needed.
