Modern, clean facilities. Good location.

The room was too cold and I was told that the heating didn't come on until 8pm. It was still cold in the morning and I was then told that there must be something wrong with the radiator. I did not find the staff on reception friendly and they did not apologise.

From Check In to Check Out we were given a friendly courteous and helpful experience. Location was great, within a 10 minute walk of shopping and main rail station. Good restaurant and bar facility. Will always use this hotel in future when staying in Newcastle.

Overall, our stay was perfectly acceptable. We didn't spend much time in the hotel, but the reception staff were very polite and helpful.

Room was clean, comfortable and quite spacious although storage space was very limited if we had been staying for more than a couple of nights. Good central location. Good for parking.

King size bed would be better than the double. The shower wasn't particularly powerful. There was no room service which was disappointing.

It was very clean and convenient to the city centre

It was stated by the staff that there was no smoking. As non smokers we appreciated this however we could smell smoke in our room the next morning - some one must have been smoking in one of the rooms along our corridor

This was my 1st stay in a Jurys Inn and my expectations were that of a much higher standard. The restaurant was very poor and not to the standard you would expect of a hotel this size. To be honest i have been served better food in a cafe.
The rooms are clean but we were let down by the bed being too small and uncomfortable. There was also alot of noise early in the morning. All in all i would choose not to stay in a Jurys Inn in the future

The hotel is very well situated for the city centre.

The double bed was actually a 3/4 and the pillows were wafer thin. The shower did not function very well.

Parking was adjacent to the hotel - I found the hotel very upmarket and lively yet relaxing. The room was actually rather small in comparason to the wide lobby and hallways but was well appointed and quiet overlooking the car park and river. The hotel is not that central to the city centre but just a 15 minute walk. The breakfast room was super - with books and newspapers and plenty of variety in seeting to the standard 4 seat table to a more informal bar.

Location - decor, the breakfast was outstanding and staff on duty very attentive to the self-service

lack of air in the room

Would have like the option of twin rooms on internet site that I booked through. Could only book double and pull out sofa bed rather than 2 single beds.

the hotel is based in an ideal location, only 5 minutes walk from the shopping centres. I would liked to have known about the parking facilities in more detail before i had booked, however it was easy to find as it is situated next to a multi storey car park(Time Square), which is a bonus. The staff are very friendly and the hotel was very pleasant indeed. I would recommend this hotel as i experienced a very enjoyable stay.

the accommodation had a very high standard of cleanliness, and provided all of the necessary facilities.

Possibly including breakfast into the price as i thought it was a little steep.
