The hotel was only a 5minute walk from central station and a 10minute walk from queen street station. Was very easy to find. Taxi would have been pointless if coming from station. We were staying as at a concert in the SECC.. taxi was only £1.40 over the starting fare however if up for a walk was about 20minutes..(in heels).. the room was very nice and the view we had of the clyde was fantastic. Were on the 10th floor so had a great view.. only downside was that a hostel was across from us and cud see into every window.. making us think they wud see into ours.. the breakfast was ok.. wud recommend gettin the voucher as alot cheaper..(not included in price of room) cheak in and out was very smooth.. would deff recommend this hotel to others.. We liked the room.. was basic but very nice for what we had planned, only to sleep. service from staff was great. was new woman on reception and was very helpful and great at job for only being there a week. the view we had of the water from the room. was fantastic.

The food was not to my taste. It was ok but not what we were looking for. breakfast was included in the price

The room was good with excellent bathroom facilities, however as usual in hotels, there is never enough wardrobe hanging space and very few drawer space. But overall, i cannot fault this hotel, it was clean with very friendly and attentive staff and would highly recommend it to others who are looking for an affordable base in Glasgow. (99303193)

Very nice hotel in a very central area. My girlfriend and I spent 1 night there as we planned to go to Carling Academy to see live band. Only 5min walk and 2min walk to The Arches club which is round the corner (no noise though!!)and close to Glasgow's main shops. Overall very good. (99077699)

Looking forward to visiting again particulary when the smoking ban is inplace.The bar seemed very smoky at all times. Central heating a minor problem in the room although the weather was cold, the room took a long time to heat up and got cold rather quickly. Staff all very helpful and all requests dealt with very quickly. (2893765)
