we would come again. The fact that you have pets for free is great. we really enjoyed our stay and will be back. (107251883)

positive comments the receptionist was really helpfull and pleasant. the room was a great size. and it was quiet compared with some places we have stayed.
negative comments we were very close to the petrol station but thats to be expected at a services stop.

Unfussy, straightforward, no complaints - I'll remember earplugs next time! (107180497)

positive comments Level of cleanliness most welcome. Decor a huge improvement on a couple of years ago!
negative comments Noise of lorries trundling out all night - could be improved with triple glazing (too costly) but perhaps availability of earplugs would be beneficial.

positive comments It was handy for the motorway and proved to be useful as a central location to get round the local area
negative comments There was quite a walk to the food area - this would be a problem in poor weather conditions

I believe the Day's Inn would be better described as a motel rather than an hotel as there is no lounge or dining room. We decided to vacate our room a day early and booked into the Gables Hotel at Gretna for 2 nights. The room rate was the same as the Day's Inn, but the accommodation and facilities were far superior. positive comments The bubble bath was very nice apart from the fact there was no chain on the plug
negative comments The room was not cleaned when we returned at 2.30 to 3p.m. each day. In order not to be disturbed we collected clean towels from the cleaning staff and coffee, tea and milk to replenish supplies.

The receptoin was welcoming, the hotel quiet, friendly neat and tidy, the rooms generous-sized. Just a few minor things were wrong such as a broken lamp and satellite TV not working - broadcast TV and pay TV was ok. (99900106)

positive comments It was clean, of good size, neat and friendly
negative comments Broken lamp over bed, satellite TV channels not working

I like to be able to have a light breakfast immediately I am up- which is in breakfast room not bedroom- just fruit and toast- didn't realise that was not available( my fault)- would have liked the option to have this and pay a small charge- I hate this box things but do realise that I am the exception and it would probably increase the overall cost (3305407249)

positive comments access- queit

When I go away on business I like to have good, clean basic accommodation with all the usual facilities, and as I am self employed at the best possible price and I was very happy with all these things at your hotel. (99836052)

positive comments It was good clean basic accommodation which was what I required.
negative comments There was nothing to dislike.

I would of liked to have known that they did not do meals and would be better if they did, as my mother is an elderly lady who takes her medication in the morning which has to be taken with food.I found the hotel very good. (3304446024)

positive comments quite and comfortable
negative comments If they served breakfast and evening meal

We booked two rooms with one adult and two children in each. One room was excellent whilst the other was not - it was cold (heating had not been on and took quite some time to heat), cobwebs on the wall and dirty grouting in the bathroom. The beds/sheets/towels etc. were clean for both rooms and facilities were good with warm and friendly staff. I would use and recommend Days Inn Hotels. (2869013)

positive comments Good amount of space for one adult and two children. Generally clean and tidy.
negative comments Cleanliness of one of the rooms was sub-standard and could have been heated prior to occupancy.
