Très belle chambre, avec coffre-fort, bien équipée. Ouverture de la réception 24h/24. La réservation en ligne m'a été confirmée de suite, pas besoin d'attendre une réponse de l'hôtel. Personnel sympathique. Arrêt de bus à proximité vers le centre.

Les matelas étaient trop mous pour nous. Les plafonds étaient apparemment en travaux car non fermés. Dommage que le petit-déj ne soit pas inclus! +- négatif: Petite surprise au moment de payer la chambre car le prix ne correspondait pas à l'offre (par chance à notre avantage).

The Cardinla Hotel has a beautiful and pleasant decor. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The rooms were clean and well decorated. We loved the area - a quiet residential parisian neighborhood. However, a few yards of walking your are right in the happening scene. In addition it was only few minutes walk to the Metro station. The brassarie at the corner was a major plus, providing one of the best noisettes. Also, the free internet access provided by the hotel made my day.

The breakfast was pricey for the choices provided.

Despite the room being quite small our hotel stay was really good. We particularly enjoyed the pleasant area, being away from the main tourist areas and surrounded by lots of normal French people. Excellent cafe culture very close by. Hotel should make more effort to help guests with parking, by both guiding guests to the nearest car parks and explaining the rules of on-street carparking (such as having to use pre-paid cards). I would have liked to know if there was a kettle in the room. However, the overall stay was very enjoyable and the staff were helpful. Only one thing occurred at the end, we were nearly charged for breakfast although it was included. I had to produce my booking confirmation to clear up the matter. If I had not had this I might have been charged. (3305048232)

It was clean and tidy.

No shower curtain over the bath so the bathroon became drenched after a shower.

Staff were friendly and helpful. Rooms were ok, but a bit dated especially the bathroom. Because the aircon was not working we slept with window open, noise from the bar across the road was quite loud. We English like our tea in the morning, tea making facilities would have been helpful in rooms. Overall though a cosy hotel, communal areas well kept and clean. (3304410562)

Nice small and friendly hotel. Not too far to walk to some superb restaurants. Breakfast room is in the lobby, a bit small but nice enough.

The rooms were a bit shabby, could do with updating. Air con not working! No shower curtain so water got everywhere.

The situation of the hotel was good. By foot 4 minutes to the Metro station GOBELINS. Many bars and brasseries in the zone. The room was very small but perfectly clean. The staff very helpful. Shuttle service to the airport. (was punctual and at a reasonable price). The only one thing that we considered little expensive and poor was the breakfast. (3304175255)

Salle de petit déjeuner un peu petite et même salle que le lobby de l'Hôtel, parfois gênant. Salle de bain trop petite. Lit beaucoup trop mou ne soutiennent pas la colonne vertébrale durant la nuit.

The hotel was very pretty from the outside with lovely flowering window boxes. The reception which also doubles as a breakfast area was bright and open, beutifully decorated with fresh flowers on display. The staff were all extremely helpful and friendly - all able to converse in English. The room was perfectly adequate - the bathroom was clean, the shower good - the only criticism being no shower screen or curtain There were opening windows on to a quietish side road, and also air conditioning which was quiet enough to sleep with on all through the night. The hotel is in a brilliant location surrounded by bustling streets full of bars, cafes restaurants, shops, market stalls etc., but quietly tucked away so not too busy on a night. Rue Mouffetard is a 5 minute stroll away - and we ate in different restaurants there every night.

Only one small criticism - no showere screen or curtain!

The room was very clean - fresh linen every day. Staff were pleasant and helpful. There was a fridge in the room which was good - the aircon was a boon too. Rapport qualité-prix excellent, propre et bien insonorisé. Situation calme et proche de la Gare de Lyon pour les utilisateurs de TGV.

Un peu froid, pas trouvé de chauffage autre que celui de la salle de bain. Situation de l'hôtel légérement décentrée qui oblige l'utilisation de transports publics ou taxi, surtout la nuit !

Modest, undistinguished hotel offering decent value for momey in a city where hotel prices are high. Located in easy striking distance of a number of points of interest and a range of places to eat. I had a very tall order: central location, ambience, friendly and responsive staff, spacious room with good shower, a/c, and firm bed, all at below E100. I got it all. The a/c was faulty in one of my colleague's room, who was quickly changed to a bigger, pleasant room. Was therefore able to conclude business quite successfully. The weekend visiting chateaux and restaurants was also great fun, went without a hitch thanks to excellent advice from staff. Am very much satisfied. (1384034)
